The family run Western Hotel is located in the heart of Galway, just off Eyre Square. The property offers limited on-site parking, spacious en-suite rooms and a newly refurbushed bar & restaurant. There is live music 5 nights a week, including traditional Irish music every Wednesday, Thursday & Friday nights.
Consisting of three Georgian buildings, the hotel offers an old-world style along with modern facilities
Rooms at the Western have private bathrooms with baths, showers and hairdryers. They also include teacoffee making facilities.
Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant while guests can enjoy a light lunch menu and an evening á la carte menu. The Western Bar offer a wide selection of drinks to suittastes plus an extensive cocktail menu with both the classics and some of our in-house speciality cocktails.
Guests also have access to the Snap Fitness gym for a surcharge of EUR 10 per session. Please contact the property for further information.
Limited on-site, valet parking is available forguests (height restriction is 2.2m). Guests are required to leave their keys with our valet.
Galway Bus and Train Stations are within a 5-minute walk. The Bold Art Gallery, Galway Shopping Center and the Greyhound Stadium are also nearby.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
Please note that for bookings of 4 rooms or more, the payment options and cancellation policies are different. The required deposit is 50% at the time of booking and a further 50% deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. The property will contact guests shortly after booking to confirm the procedure, along with details regarding the security deposit required upon arrival.
